international shipping;yes

willing to swap with newbie; as i'm technically a returner i'm not a newbie, but some might see me that way, but yes i'd swap with a newbie. Fresh Blood is always welcome mwwah ha ha haaaa.

also I'm not a great sewer although I can do it, so just a warning not to expect anything magnificent sewing wise. paper is so much more my thing.

International shipping: of course

Happy to swap with Newbie?: of course! ^___^

Style: I like working with paper but I'm not very much into Dottee Dolls (not very confident of my sewing skills). If me & my partner could agree an all-paper swap (maybe replacing the Dottee with an extra chunky book page, or a set of ATCs, or a set of inchies, or anything else) it would be great.

Happy to swap with Newbie?: Yes

Style: I am not a sewer and don't know what a dotee doll is, I'd be happy to have a go but would prefer to just do the paper items and make up with some extra stuff, if my partner was in agreement Happy

For those who don't know what a dotee doll is, or are worried their sewing skills aren't up to it...fear not!!
Honestly, give one a go - you'll be hooked in no time.....

Have a browse through the Dotee Doll Beginner Swap thread, to see what they are and where we're at with them (this is only the 2nd dotee doll swap and its a shame if they fall by the wayside)

Plus, remember, it's for Halloween - the more grotesque & wonky, the better!!
And if all else fails, sneak a peek at my Baby Bunting Dotee Doll project - change the face face & he becomes a wee ghostie!!! :O

If you still don't wanna do a dotee doll, I'm fine for substitutions in the swap items though! ;P

i just had a thought, ive never done a matchbox swap, is it with a real matchbox (decorated) or one made from folded paper?

Edit Delete
Moderate: Hide this post Mark as Spam

good question Nikki, I've never done one either

Edit Delete

well....it's easier to decorate one thats already there, rather than make one, if that helps ;P

Small ones Nikki

This is the template that I use for matchboxes. It's very easy.
It accommodates inchies up to 1-1 1/4 inchies.
