Bindiibabe, actually a huge swath of the fabric came by me for free! I got giant totes filled with free fabric from someone on Freecycle

In fact about 95% of my craft stash was free or super cheap at a thrift store! and I have a ton

My BFF offered to help her sis clear out her dressing room the other night, and yes there was an ulterior motive, I am now the proud owner of another bag of gorgeous things to cut up!! She has a buying problem, she, her boyfriend and their two kids have wayyy too many clothes - its great (for me) bad for her bank balance tho ;P

Here is the adorable punk rock dottee doll that Libby made for me. She also sent me beautiful strawberry fabric, with pink seed beads, yellow and pink felt, a bit of muslin, 3 colors of embroidery thread and white ribbon. Last but not least there was an awesome container of bigger glass beads and red buttons!

Everything was really wonderful. You sent me so many items for decorating the next doll...I was overwhelmed at your generosity. Thank you so much. I sent my doll out on August 13th, so you should get her by next Sat. I believe it takes about 2-3 weeks.

Thank you again for everything. I love my doll. I am going to hang her by my bed. I love the skull charm on her tail. It is adorable.

I'm so pleased you like her, Corvus and I wanted to give you plenty of choice in how you design and decorate your next doll. This swap is great as everyone is essentially making the same thing, but we all have such unique styles, that they all come out really different. I can't wait for mine, I keep checking the post everyday! I hope she arrives soon!

The Dotee she made: I absolutely love her!! Her name is Alicia and she was inspired by Alice in Wonderland ^_^ She is so cute and tiny! She's about 3-4 inches long from the top of her hair to the bottom of her tail. SOo cute!! <3

We decided to include a matchbox in our swap.. but obviously she sent me way more than I expected!! There is a superr cute Tea Wallet she made with some yummy teas, a very beautiful flower pin she made also, and some yummy candy! I love the little charms that came in the matchbox and of courseee I really love the things she made!!

I got my swap from BindiiBabe today! And I am so excited to show you all what I got! Her doll is so amazing. I got the Queen Of Hearts! She even came with her own tarts <3 And other candies that my husband ate She put my doll I sent her to shame!

She also sent me a soft toffee candy, those cookies/tarts, some square Scottish Tablets....that I dont know what they are yet, lol

I had already decided to do an Alice inspired doll for you, then when I came across the chess pieces fabric, that was it settled! It HAD to be the Queen!! And for the record, I love your doll!!! She's really cute and was displayed to all and sundry as soon as she arrived.

Scottish tablet is pretty much just boiled sugar. It's sweeter than a sweet thing from Sweetsville on Planet Sweet, but is quite palatable when eaten in small amounts, with coffee.

Oh, and is it ok if I steal your pic? - the one I took before I posted didnt turn out too great.

Ah, I forgot for a minute that you came from the land of Highland Toffee and Irn Bru, Libby <3

and thanks, I was quite pleased with how she turned out. (except her collar - after using two layers of brocade and two layers of heavyweight interfacing to stiffen it, i couldn't get the needle through the ribbon edging doh! I ended up attaching it with doublesided tape.... (feel free to fix it P.)
