<p><strong>Hello Everybody! <br /><span style="color: #000000;"><br />I have now successfully completed my Newbie Swap and so would like to host my own. (I hope this is ok with everyone! 
) <br /><br />I propose a skill swap.... basically the idea is that you choose one of your best craft skills. It could be resin, beading, plushie, ANYTHING. You then suggest a couple of things you can't do at all or very well. So for me it would be knitting and crochet. <br /><br />And hopefully you can be paired with someone who has the skills you don't and swap with them to receive things normally you couldn't make yourself. <br /><br /><span style="background-color: #ffff00;">I am happy to accept suggestions for how this swap could run more smoothly. </span><br /><br />I am going to make some rules for this swap now! </span></strong></p>

Oh,this sound like fun!But when would the send out date be?since I made myself a rule,that I can do only one swap at the time.But I would love to do this.But I can only join if its after the kawaii swap.
Well I thought I'd leave sign up to everyone who wants to be involved. I'm happy to do it anytime but I suppose it could be ongoing/ or we can leave it nearer to nov/dec? Just would like as many people to take part as possible.

Ace idea Minnie. I've got a few more swaps on my hands at the moment and with Christmas just around the corner I won't be able to take part . Hopefully in the future though
I think ongoing for this swap would be a pretty good idea since it doesn't have a set theme (Christmas , Halloween, , Pirate, etc) BUt also bec I just signed up for a swap and try to only do one at a time But either way its a really good idea and I hope everyone enjoys it
Well how does everyone feel about putting it on a back burner for now? Perhaps we can make sign up Dec and sending out Jan?

This is an awesome idea for a swap,so it would be a shame if we wouldn't do it.
I never tried resin(can't buy it here),but I love the cute things people make from it. Also I love scrabble tile and glass pendants,but I can't get any here. But I'm good at sewing,crocheting,basic knitting,recycling...
Right ok then I propose sign up is from now until December and I will add anyone as a friend who wants to sign up so I prod and poke you to remind you that this swap is going ahead
I want it to be a relaxed swap with Xmas coming up so I'm going to keep dates for partners flexible and in the mean time is people who want to sign up fill in this for me.... I'd be grateful! XX

This is awesome!! I agree if we leave ongoing, I'll leave my details but I'll be ready to be partnered up <B>at the beginning of December</B> since I have two swaps that need shipping out at the end of Nov so I don't want to push myself.
1.What Craft Skills are you willing to swap? Sewing (hand and machine), Embriodery, Cross-Stitching, Stenciling(?), Riveting(?), Decopauge. That's about it really, my sills are limited Cross stitching probably comes under embriodery and embriodery probably comes under sewing, but sewing is my main skill really.
2.What Craft Skill can't you do?, and would love to receive? I don't mind recieveing anything I can't do anything I haven't mentioned, like crocheting, knitting, resin, jewellry making... that's all I can think of atm.
3.Are you willing to post outside of your Country? Maybe, I'll have to see how money is at the beginning of Dec.
4.Tell us 5 of your favourite things: Purple, Hedgehogs, Black Cats, Scarfs, Gothic-y things
I will keep this at the top of my brain. I think I should be able to join, but I'm not sure how my shop is going right now...I've got a lot of things backed up that I've yet to finish.
I'll wait a little closer to the sign up end date just to be sure. ;)
