Would anybody be interested in doing an Easter Swap??
Easter themed items??
I was inspired by Roma's swaps.

I don't know if I'd have time to do anything like that but in Germany Easter is like as big as Christmas is in the UK and the US and they get hen eggs and poke a hole in them with a needle and leave it until all the yolk runs out of it then they paint them....would be a bit too fragile to put in the post though. I'd quite like to do a swap but I'm not signing anything lol yet

I love painting eggs. I have done hundreds of them and have a few listed in my etsy shop.

hmmmm.... i would like to do this, but i have no money for postage right not Happy but may i suggest using wooden or plastic eggs in replace of real eggs?

I'm so new at the swapping part of the online craft world, If someone would be so kind as to tell me how it works I'd be appreciative.


Not so sure I'd be up for painting an egg tho. Somehow it just doesn't sound exciting. However... Perhaps if Lorraine would be willing to post some pics of some of the eggs that she has painted and what sort of materials she used it may serve to inspire myself and some others who are at this time hesitant to participate...

I think though that I would be more up for a easter card. Totally hand made of course, any size big or tiny, made from anything under the sun from sewn, quilted, painted, cardboard, glued on stuff, taped on stuff, sewn on stuff, sparkly stuff, yarns, fibers, trinkets, buttons, eyelets, to name but a few ideas as there are way way too many to type and I would surely be exhausted by the end of such a list.

Also, a card of sorts would probably be a more affordable postage unless it's extra heavy or an odd or extra large size. Perhaps more people could participate.

I may be a willing participant... I just figured out how to look at your egg pics Lorraine. They are adorable...
