International hapiness swap of joy!!!

ok so it's coming towards the end of the holidays. we all have to go back to work/school or your friends do :'( so i thought to cheer everyone up we send a standard envolope (8 1/2 inches by 4 1/2 ish) to each other full of international hapiness and joy Happy.

The envelope would include:
-something from your country
-something that makes you happy
-A letter or card written to your partner(postcard?)

It might include:
-sweets
-feathers
-pictures
-sovenirs??...you get the idea Happy

but everything must fit in an envelope so that it is realitively in-expensive to post to anywhere in the world Happy

vets and newbies welcome Happy

what you would like your envelope to include/not to include: I like glitter, random jewelry parts, and retro-looking things, especially animals (retro owls, cats, random retro-ish animals you wouldnt think of like jellyfish, etc.). I'm not too into this cutesy Japanese character thing, and ESPECIALLY not gross/morbid things! (no zombies or "bloooooddddyyy naiiiillllllssss," lol. ;) )

What makes you happy: Chocolate, love, knitted things, high-quality hot tea or chocolate, ballet, Halloween and Christmas, Fall, etc.

(**No offense to anyone who did the zombie, bloody nails, and cute japanese crafts! They just aren't for me, is all. Happy )

summer do you mean how does this swap work or swapping in general?
I will explain both:

Well this swap is the same as every other but instead of sending bigger items to people in your area of the world, this swap will only require you to send a standard envelope(at a realitively cheap cost) to anywhere in the world. people will generally be paired vets with newbies and i will make sure that you don't swap with someone in your country Happy

swaps in general:
someone will post an idea for a swap and say who it is open too ( some recquire you to have participated in a swap before) then people are paired up by the organiser. the pairs then get in touch and send each other there address. theme, send out date (if not already stated) and send each other their items. The organiser checks that everyone has recieved and people usually put up photos of the items they have recieved Happy

i am sure that I have made it sound more complicated than it is but it is really really easy.honest Happy

Tips
it is a good idea to write down what swaps you involved in and the send out dates so that you don't forget.

don't send unless you have spoken and agreed a send out date with your partner

tell your partner if you are away on holiday or have to extend the send out date

the golden rule of swapping is don't send anything you wouldn't want to recieve yourself

Have fun Happy

Any more questions just ask :] Hope that helps Happy
