logo...

ive always wanted to sell my own line of crafts. i make hairthings, wallets, handbags, earrings, necklaces, charms, all kind of bracelets, scarfs, belts, and other randoms. ive sold items to a few family members, and some friends. but have never tried to really get out there, due to the fact that i just can't pick out a name, or logo to stick with. but ive resently drawn up something i think i like, so please tell me what you think, and if you have any suggestions, or ideas for a different design or name, please let me know!!

here it is......

thanks for all your responses!! it really helped! i do plan on going for something smaller and more simple, but sadly it wont be with zombie courture. i googled it just to be careful and check for others so i wouldn't be a duplicate, and theres a woman in portland oregon named kelly that sells clothing under the name of zombie courture { http://profile.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=user.viewprofile&friendID=70565673 }. so now im working on something different. im interested in using the name "created to destroy". its part of a line in the song <i>ruthless</i> by something corporate. and it just struck me as cute and interesting. when ever i get something made up using it, ill post it here to run it by everyone again for some good critisism. thanks again everyone!!

I always think that logos should be clean cut and simple. I like that a lot- you have drawing skills! But I'd go for something far simpler.

I like the zombie writing font you used, but I agree with Roma, something simple is always best. Here is mine<div class="thumbnail"><a href="http://skitch.com/northern-star/bwc4/label"><img src="http://img.skitch.com/20080622-1m283185j5mka6dgmajtyy5nrj.preview.jpg" alt="label" /></a><br /><span style="font-family: Lucida Grande, Trebuchet, sans-serif, Helvetica, Arial; font-size: 10px; color: #808080">Uploaded with <a href="http://plasq.com/">plasq</a>'s <a href="http://skitch.com">Skitch</a>!</span></div>
Either way, it's your label so you will know what you want it to represent to people, so it's ultimately up to you Happy Good luck

I love that logo! It is so cool... But then again I have a thing for zombie movies. However I agree with Opposites and Roma... If a logo is more simple you might draw in a broader audience where as something like that might intimidate people that are kinda creeped out by zombies if you know what I mean. :]

if you want it to fit it on a small label you're going to have to make it smaller but readable,so it seems simpler is the way to go!

I LOVE IT! but thats because I'm a huge zombie fan... but after reading the other comments, I kind of agree, it should be simpler. The writing is GREAT, but instead of the zombie, you could half a little blood splatter on the side. Happy
