Pirate costume ...Hmm

I'm going to a Pirate ball and was wondering on a costume to wear.Since I have no money ,I thought I would put something together ,so am hoping for some suggestions on what to wear or how to make one.

When I went out as a pirate I wore a black corset over a white shirt, black cords and big black boots. I wore a silly bandana and hooped earings, I didn't have to buy anything had it all at home. I'm not showing a picture though because I was drunk.
