Help! Humf teddy?

My 2 year old daughter absolutely LOVES humf, it's a kid's tv show on Nick Jr and there's no toys available at all!! i would love to make her a teddy if i could but have never made a teddy before!! Humf is the cutest little thing...for those who don't know who humf is and what he looks like theres a picture of him here:

Then you could just cut out two of them shapes and blanket stitch/overlock the two sides together, though the teddy will be flat... I wouldn't know how to make a 3d teddy/plushie

decided to buy a pattern for a teddy then just adapt it a bit....been and got the material and pattern today so fingers crossed i can do it!

Aw awesome, I was just gonna say make a normal teddy shape in the purpley/blue colour and add green floppy ears... Well done you though for thinking of it. My fingers are crossed for you, hope all goes well and I'm sure we'd all love to see photo's of the successful teddy Happy
