Where can I find traditional medieval music?

I'm looking for traditional Celtic and medieval music but can't find anywhere.. Where can I download some, or at least find a list of popular songs or artists?

Well it depends.. what kind of medieval/celtic music are you looking for? Medieval music can go from anywhere from Gregorian chants to troubadour songs and instrumental dancing music. What kind do you want?

For popular songs, look for the older folk songs. Also maybe look in to bands like Corvus Corax and the Mediaeval Baebes (though the latter's songs aren't all medieval, they at least make them sound it).

I want instrumental dancing music.

I've heard of Mediaeval Baebes but I don't like them. I haven't heard Corvus Corax yet though

Certain Corvus Corax songs -might- work then. You should listen to their songs Bibit Aleum, Katrinka and Scotus. Also Omnia probably has some songs like that, for example Etrezomp ni-Kelted, Tine Bealtaine and Fidhe Ra Huri. If I think of anything else I'll post it too. Good luck!

My mom has this cd of Christmas music... it's actually a medieval "play" performed by modern actors/singers (obviously) and recorded on cd. it's very true-to-era. If you want, I can ask her what the name of the cd is.
