Sailor Senshi Wand Help

I've decided I'd really like to make a sailor senshi wand, but I'm not sure where to start! I've seen some done with clay, and I've seen others made with cardboard templates and grout. Though I've seen lots of them, I'm also having a hard time finding any sort of tutorial, so I may just have to wing it. Any help would be greatly appreciated!! Happy

The only idea that comes to mind is a stick, spray paint, clay and lots of happy vibes....I cant seem to find a tut online either but figure you can just use a few pics as reference and use your creativeness and go from there. Happy

You could get a piece of wooden dowel from a hardware store for your base, as Sug says spray paint it or cover it with foil. Are you going for a big moon/star/heart shape at the end? You could use card or balsa wood for that, it would be lighter than clay. Then use clay for the fiddly bits=)

I've also seen 3D stars, hearts, balls, and bells made of polystyrene that might be useful too. Should be able to find them onlione or at craft shops.
