What to do with an unwanted book?

For some odd reason, my school was giving away free copies of a Harlequin romance book. I grabbed one, because as a crafter, I know never to turn down free things Happy

Now the problem is... I don't know what to do with it! I've seen the paper chandelier design on this site which is AWESOME, but I don't have that type of light, so there's nowhere to put it.

Any more suggestions on what to do?

Make a hollow book to keep precious things!

Or you can make an invisible book shelf.

These projects are on this site.

I like cutting out sentences, words, etc from unwanted books and using them in a collage or arranging the words i cut out into a poem. good luck I hope you come up with an idea that works for you.

I had thought of using it as an invisible bookshelf (those are AWESOME), but the cover of this book isn't exactly pretty. Some cowboy who is supposed to be hot or something Happy So I'd be more likely to use the pages than the cover.

I do like that idea of cutting out sentences... I also thought about making those rolled up beads out of the pages. *shrug* Who knows!

You can tear out pages and sort of make poetry out of certain words on the page by drawing around them.... with marker or paint... so hard to explain! I haven't seen it on here so maybe one of these day's I'll do a How To. But it's very easy.

Here's what first inspired me to do this: http://www.humument.com

Why not do the hidden hollow book idea and add your own thing to the cover? Get some glue some colorfull paper and have fun!

Or

Make cool homemade paper out of it!
