Ahsoka Tano Headpiece

There's a Star Wars conventition comin' up and I'm tryin' to help someone do their makeup and costume.
The outfit itself shouldn't be too terribly difficult, but the headpiece is...

We're trying to think of different ways to make it, from fabric or liquid latex models.

This is what the character looks like:

Anyone have any ideas for us?

Thank you for your time Happy

I've never attempted something like that, but maybe you could try making it out of a block of lightweight foam? You could cut away bits to get the curved shape at the top and the longer parts at the sides, then paint it. Alternatively, you could shape each piece separately and glue them together very securely. No idea where you'd get the foam from though... Sorry I can't be more helpful.

You could form it out of chicken wire and then cover the form with papier mache. Should still be lightweight enough to wear.
