Help!!

Hi there,
I am getting a bit desperate for help now so would appreciate any ideas that anyone may have.

I am creating a fairy garden with a group of girls aged 12-13, we have used various techniques found on here for making flowers etc. But we need to make fairies to go in our garden! I would if possible like to make them using fabrics if not maybe a clay. But it has to be cheapish.
Size wise they could be anything from 5".

Please please if anyone can help I have been trying to find ideas for over a month now and only have 2 weeks left.

Many thanks to anyone that can help.
x

In the past I've made faries out of fake flowers. Just buy a bunch and take them apart, then use the petals upside down as skirts. Make their bodies out of pipe cleaners, their heads from beads, and their hair from embriodery thread. They're really cute.
