Help! Birthday present

My cousins are celabrating there birthdays together on May 30th. They both are asking for money, but I want to give them something creative. For my niece I have painted a little drawer, but I can't find anything for my nephew.

He is 25 years old and I hardly know what he likes and dislikes. Does anyone have an easy idea what I can make for him? I'm really stuck.

Thanks for helping!

Stencil him a cool t-shirt with a hip design. Think about the type or brand of clothing he wears.

For example, if he's into sports, do something related to his team. Or if he likes music, use old cassette tapes as a stamp. (there's a project like that on here somewhere) If he likes "nerdy" things, stencil an old-school nintendo controller or something.

Just remember that whatever design you decide to do, keep it simple. A plain gray tshirt with a simple black stencil would be good. (my husband says) Maybe just one stencil on the bottom corner or something. Less is more when it comes to men's idea of fashion. Or so my hubby said. He's 25 too. ;)

Thanks a lot!

A stencil is a good idea.
I really don't know much, but he has a Hyves page (is a dutch version of Facebook I guess) and there he wrote down loads of artists he likes. So if I just look for CD covers from those artists I could stencil one on a shirt!
I hope that I still have the Transfer paper at my parents home.

You could also make more smaller stencils of other artists he likes, and make them into patches...so he can attach them to anything he wants.
Just do them on small scrap fabric, and cut them into squares/rectangles ...and include safety pins for easy attachment. =)

You could also make somethin with his name on it? Maybe a hat or notebook?

The final result:
For my nephew a shirt with the CD-cover of the Queen CD Innuendo & a showergel from LUSH: Rub, Rub, Rub.
For my niece the little drawer and 2 bubble bars from the LUSH: The Comforter and Pop in the Bath.
Coming sunday is there birthday party. Thanks for the ideas!
