T Shirt Printing?

So One of my friends is a really amazing artist and I have been trying to help him start up a shop on etsy. He designs these really cute, but sort of morbid little comics and we would like to print them on tshirts, hoodies, bags, etc. The only problem is I have no idea how to print tshirts! I've heard that screen printing works well, but again I don't really know. We really would like the method to be high quality, but not too expense or labor intensive. Ideas?
Your thoughts are appreciated! By the way, if this ends up working I will post the shop name and website Happy THANKS!!

Try silk-screening. My uncle does it as a side thing, it's really cool. It doesn't take up a whole lot of space, but I recommend getting one of those multiple shirt stand things, as they really help. This video is probably the best explanation: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ee_8IMx0uMo It even shows you how to make the prints. I'd also recommend getting this type of standing oven that in essence bakes the design onto the shirt so it doesn't wash out or peel. I'm not sure what temperature you'd have to get the shirt to so it dries, but I'm sure it'll say so in the manual. Good Luck!

I would check out some of Jonesy's t-shirts and designs (he's another member of the cut out and keep family Happy ). He posts quite regularly and has done some really cool t-shirts.

BY far the easiest method is to use TAP-Artist paper. This is an iron on medium, but gives a really superior finish that's as good as screen printing.
It originally comes from USA, but is available here in UK for around £10 for 5 sheets.
Check out this page and read about it:

sounds like you want some photo emulsion, once youve got that you can bodge the rest together cheaply
