colour advice (loom project pictures!)

Hi!
so my father finally made the loom for me -tnx dad!!- and i'm having a lot of fun with it
see this link http://www.threadbanger.com/episode/THR_20090102 on how to make the loom ;)
I've started looming some old t-shirt just to try my new toy and I think this is going to be a belt...
Can u help me to choose the colours? I plan to make it as a mirror image (specular...?) so black, beige, brown, red, brown, beige, black... or just black, brown, beige, brown, black... does it make any sense? XD

any advice and comment is very welcome ^^
tnx!

you just have to cut the threads ( i've used that green wool yarn) and tie them together. that's why you need to start looming a bit further.
hope this is clear, anyway it is well explained in the video ;)
thanks for your suggestion!
making the loom is really easy, my father did that for me because he likes to work with his wood tools etc.. Happy but I think u can definitely do it yourself!
let me know if u start one!
