Twin needle Q???

Hello!
I'm new so humour me! Ok so I thought Ooh twin needles great! I have a machine that has 2 places to put cotton spools and does zig zag stitch, so apparently I'm good to go so I ordered one. Then I thought but I only have one bobbin thread??? So how does a twin needle work, will it work on my machine? I can only pull up bobbin thread with the one needle right? Am I missing s'thing?
TIAHappy

It will work just fine. I have a twin needle for my machine and it only needs the one bobbin. I don't know how it works I just know that it does=)

you use both thread spools, thread both pieces of thread as you usually would do, except when you get to the thread guide above your needle, put one only one thread into this guide, leave the other one out. Thread both needles. Put you bobbin in as usual, and it will create two rows of stitching on the top, and a zig zag row of stitching on the underside of your fabric. YOU CANNOT USE A DOUBLE NEEDLE FOR ZIG ZAG STITCHES!!!!
