FABRIC BOW TUTORIAL REQUEST

Hey crafty people!

I have tried and failed not only in making but finding a good tutoral on how to make adoable fabric bows like the ones Kelly from I'm Your Present makes? imyourpresent.etsy.com I love how flat they are but can't figure out how to scrunch them up in the middle to look good...

Can someone make a fabric how tutorial for bows that resemble those?

Please & Thanks :]

ok if i recall, i think she cut two adjacent slits in the middle OR she cut two curved sections out aceoss from eachother so it is smaller in the middle AND THEN pinched it

Oh! You mean like cut out my fabric almost in the shape of a bow and then pinch in in further after they're sewn? At least, I think that's what you mean...and that actually makes a lot of sense..because trying to cinch that much fabric looks bulky and ew in the middle when I do it, lol...

I don't think those weren't so much pinched, but accordion folded. Those are cute bows. I have some pink satin material left over from a prom dress I made that would make for a perfect bow. I'm gonna make one and post it if helps.

OoOoO yes, please! That would be a huge help. I did make a small bow that looked semi-cute..but I accidentally sewed the corners curved so it messed up the look I was going for. I did the accordion folds which really helped..at least for the small bow..I just wonder how it'd work on a large bow..I guess I could try and see..practice makes perfect!

Ooooh sounds cute... practice does indeed make perfect... I'm sure we'd all love to hear how you are progressing with it, so keep up with the updates Happy
