How do I fix it!!!!???????????

Hi! I just finished crocheting abeautiful chenile afgan for my son (3 diff. color rectangles sewn together) I thought I would be nice a wash it before mailing and was shocked to find it looked like crap when I took it out of the dryer, I have many holes and am not sure if theres a way to repair or do I have to start over Happy It also has loops!!! Anyone with ideas for the beginner who doesnt want to give up?

Ah, your problem was the dryer. Knitted and crocheted stuff and the dryer don't mix. In the future, wash projects in cold water and hang them or lay them out to dry. I'm not sure if anything can be done to save your afghan - the water and the heat of the dryer combined causes some yarns to felt - literally changing their structure permanently - but I'm not sure if chenille falls in that category or not. Sorry I can't be of more help; I hope you find a way to fix it!
