Is this just a Plus-size girl problem?

Ok, so, as many of you have read my angsty teen plus size ranty thingymabobergig, you know that I'm a big girl Happy

But sometiems... like with ALL of the skinnys jeans I have bought... the waist is HUGE on me! Like... if it fit in the front, then the back would be huge, if the back fit, the front would be like.. a maternity pant, and if THOSE BOTH FIT [which is very rare] then they thighs were WAY WAY WAY to small! Its like...

I'm deformed or something.

I've got some thunder thights [which I'm completely fine with btw, the only thing about my body that i want to loose is some of my tummy... WHICH WOULD GIVE ME AN EVEN BIGGER PROBLEM! lol] and I DO have a stomache.. but its like.. My tummy isn't big enough to fit... or my butt is to big... or.. idk...

its like... ACK! My mom has this problem to [but she isn't a plus size.. she is very much in the middle] and One of my other friends has this problem [she used to be big, now she isn't] so I was wondering if this is just an EVERYONE proble, of if I've got the wonkiest body on earth?

well, if I get pants that fit in the waist, nine times out of ten, the pants will be high water, pedal pushers. If I go for length, the waist will swallow me. I have to alter everything I get. And I'm really tiny.

But Stacy and Clinton says everyone should alter their clothes.

No, this is a Nobody Ever Makes Clothes That Fit Anyone problem.

I'm average size, but I have wide hips, big boobs, and short legs. So my pants fit in the waist, but the crotch is too low and the legs are ALWAYS too long. And don't even get me started on shirts- I should be a Medium or an 8, but I can't buy a Medium because it won't fit over my boobs. So I have to buy a Large or 10/12, and then it looks like I'm wearing a tent. I haven't worn a button-down shirt since 10th grade because, even buying a Large, I feel like I'm wearing maternity clothes, and the buttons STILL gap open over my chest.

And people wonder why I always wear T-shirts and shorts.

I am a size 2, and I have that problem because I have curves and am not a toothpick. I have it hard finding pants that will fit my bum. So I end up with buying pants in larger sizes(so they can get up over my thighs) but then the waist is too large.

Maybe you should try buying jeans at Lane Bryants it's a plus size clothing store and they have so many jeans in all different sizes. Like stuff that will fit you in the front or the back. But you can say I'm a size 13 and buy size 13 jeans there. You have to try on everything till you find the ones that fit you ^^

i have the same problem as DJ, everything i buy either fits the boobs, or everything else.

I have a small wasit!! Like i wear size 4-6 (depending on the store/time of the month, damn i bloat ><) but my boobs make most girls with implants look small. i'm huge!! I seriously look like im going to fall over, alll the time. But, if it buy shirts to fit confortble over the boobs, i look like i have no waist! and if i buy for my lower body, my boobs rip the shirts >< ACK! i wish i had a sewing machine, i would just make all my clothes.

lets face it every manufactory out there sends out clothes in their own sizing. I went to one shop a few months back and in one style I was a Double 0! (I'm small- but not that small) and in another store I was a 5.

Some companies make clothes(TROUSERS) that fit our bodies and others you have to ask what were they on when they made that?

For Jeans I find the selection a Reitmans(in Canada) actually fits well, and they are coming out with more trendy styles.

I think you just have to find a brand of clothing that uses a pattern for their clothes that work for you. I'm plus sized and find that my pants usually fit everywhere accept the knees and crotch which are always baggy. So you aren't alone. But usually plus size stores have clothes that are a little better fitting. Try Torrid, Fashion Bug, or Lane Bryant they have plus sized clothes but they aren't made to make you look like a frump. hahaha
