etsy question

Hey guys

I'm finally going to attempt to get my own etsy page going ;) hopefully I'll have time to look after it. Just wondering though how did everyone work out postage costs and such for items?

I just looked at other shops from the US and how they priced shipping for similar sized items. International shipping is a little harder to determine from the US, so at times its overestimated. If the final shipping costs are way off (like by at least a dollar) I refund the money back to the buyer's PayPal account with a message stating why. Don't forget to set how much you want an item to ship if it's purchased with another item. Don't forget to factor in the price of your packaging with the shipping, too, because sometimes bubble mailers can be a little pricey. I buy mine in packs of 30 or 40 off of eBay. I hope that helped! I found a currency converter online to convert pounds to dollars. I have a rough idea how much postage is as I sell a lot on amazon.
