Photo uploading

I'd like it if we could upload photographs from elsewhere on the net. I post most of my photos on flickr anyway and it takes a lot for my steam powered computer to be able to deal with uploading them at all, let alone twice.

If that's really tricky or takes ages, don't worry about it, I'll just put that angry phonecall through to Virgin Media that I've been meaning for a while now, mwahaha.

Yeah, absolutely makes sense to integrate with Flickr... Only thing is trying to get a sensible interface to the whole thing - scrolling through a million photos from flickr would be just as much of a nightmare...

Have you used the import from URL thing? That's way quicker than uploading...

Where on the site do you mean Roma? You already can do it for projects, but we're hoping to add photo importing and uploading all over the site anyway.

I am blind! I'm going to do a project later on so I'll look more closely.

When I updated my new avatar from the BBC website I didn't see any importing from URL bit.
