how do I put up a recipe so that it is listed as a recipe and not a how-to?

It used to be one of the option along with "How-to" and "Creation" but it appears to have disappeared :/

I believe the recipes just show up as a how to. Once you publish an option will show up to file it under food, and what kind. This is the way I do it anyway.
