gore

I know i'm being a bit of a wuss but is there any way of having some kind of warning for projects with a high level of realism and gore. There have been some excellent halloweeny theatrical make up projects on here but sometimes I'm eating when I check this site and have been a bit ewwed out by some of the pics.
One idea I had was to maybe put the pic that appears on the front page in black and white then if you wanted to view it and you click on it you can see it in all its technicolour.

Just a thought.

We're going to be adding Parental Advisory on projects soon but we hadn't thought of doing this on "gory" projects up until now. It's hard for us to decide what's too gory etc... maybe we can give you guys an option to put advisory on your projects when publishing?!

maybe just turn the pic to black and white for the front page and keep the colour one for when people click on it. There are a few very recent ones that caught my eye yesterday that were really real looking - they were on the front page yesterday.

I for one, chose to be a member of this awesome craft site because of the gore. I do f/x makeup and have used this website as a source of inspiration and go to guide when i need reassurance on a project.
If this site is offensive to anyone, while eating or otherwise.. look somewhere else.

Creativity, in any form, should be embraced. Not censored.

I say EFF that!!! Please don't change anything about Cut Out & Keep!

No-ones arguing for censorship Motley. They're asking to be warned of something that might upset them. Like how on they news they'll say "If you're squeamish, look away now."

The pics will still be there, but only for those that CHOOSE to look at them. Consideration for others costs nothing...

I'd support a "gore warning" thumbnail. Although I'd prefer it to be something the creator chooses rather than something imposed

All I am suggesting is an addition to the site so there can be a warning of some kind if somethings a bit 'real' looking. Its a compliment to the quality of peoples make up creations not a criticism. I've been a member of this site for about 2 years and the level of realism has gone up enormously since I joined. It shows we have some really good artists here but its about acknowledging that its not for everyone.
