What I do/ did when I art journaled is looked for journaling prompts then I sorted the prompts out to see which ones I liked Or made them in to questions that I can “relate” to/that I like better.
For example: “draw how your day was”, but I drew how my night was (it’s hard to explain).

I think you just gotta jump in , don’t over-analyze, and let your heart guide you. You’ll learn so much along the way. Art journaling can be anything’s g you want it to be so just go for it. There are no rules!

I find painting both relaxing and invigorating, I love it ❤️

I'm learning. I always thought I didnt have the talent. Then I heard drawing can be a learned skill. There certainly are extremely talented people who can draw better than I can ever be taught . However, it's nice to know i can learn at an amateur level. I found I really enjoy mixed media

Any Painters?
I've been a painter for a while, but it tapered off when my son became ill 3 yrs. ago. I just started getting back into it a little last year and now am really working to get back into it. My husband just gave me my dream easel for our 25th anniversary a couple of weeks ago.
I do a mix of drawing things onto the canvas and then painting and just painting onto the canvas. Many things such as pine trees can be accomplished with a simple brush stroke using the correct brush.

Oh my gosh! @monarae the Paintmyphoto site (https://pmp-art.com/) is brilliant! thank you ... and great question, @trumocha2! I love to paint - I find it incredibly therapeutic, and love working with acrylics and gouache paints, but I have no original bone-in-my-body *grin* so often resort to trying to copy from my own photos, which is a limited choice *haha*
Anyone into in design? I need help making an event flyer!
Hi Jamie, I may be waaaaaay too late to be of help for that particular event, but if you're ever stuck in the future, have you tried out Canva.com? they have so many templates (a huge amount are free, all very customisable)
Picasso
Golly, that's a MAMMOTH task!! Good for you
I attended a Picasso exhibition in Dubrovnik this week - never knew that he'd also been quite prolific with ceramics. Some of the objects on display (such as his later plates/dishes) were very bizarre, but I loved some of his earlier ceramic pieces, particularly where he'd re-shaped a ceramic teapot into a cool duck vase!!
Picasso
Wow! That's a challenge and a half. I try and draw everyday, it really helps improve your skills if you do something regularly and I also find it a great stress buster.
Picasso
Oh wow, what an amazing challenge - how's it been going? You should share all the art with us as you go
Picasso
I have made myself a promise.
Picasso made 50000+ pieces in his lifetime. My goal is to get to that or beat him. To do that I would have to make 2-4 pieces every day (depending on if I live to 60 or 90) and I'm going to do it. Doesn't matter if its a quick sketch, I've been using a paint program on my phone as well, just make something, get something out there.
Who's with me?!
*RALLY CALL!*
