Manfred Mann is apparently behind the song "Blinded by the Light" I always thought he said "Blinded by the light,wrapped up like a douche, another runner in the night..."and never understood why the hell anyone would sing about that…I recently found out he says “Blinded by the light, revved up like a deuce, another runner in the night”

What is a deuce? Some type of car?

A deuce is a kind of car, http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ford_Model_B_(1932)#Deuce_coupe Interesting fact.. Bruce Springsteen wrote the lyric "Cut loose like a deuce" but then Manfred Mann changed it to "Revved up like a deuce"

interesting and who knew it was Bruce Springsteen's song...for some reason I never thought about who actually sang it but always heard billy joel in my head...Ha! now this song makes a lot more sense! I'm going to go see what a deuce is now Happy thanks mel

Well, The song was originally written and recorded by Bruce, but the singer that you're hearing on the track is Paul Jones (The lead vocalist of Manfred Mann)
