Timeline of your music...

Age 2 - Sesame Street, Teletubbies, ect.
Age 5 - Backstreet Boys + Hoku
Age 8 - Spice Girls + Backstreet Boys + Michelle Branch + Vanessa Carlton
Age 11 - Jason Mraz
Age 14 - Maroon 5 (fav still)
Age 17 - Too much XD

Those were just a few of the main ones I listened to growing up. Didn't really start loving it until I hit 12 or so. The genres I love are oldies (50's)/dream pop/soul/alt. rock/techno and anything I have a sense of respect for.

I still have old CDs from these guys... just dunno what to do with them since I've moved on to mp3s...

So, what did you guys enjoy over the years?

Wow, I feel really old when I read your timeline...

I'm 33 now, so here's my list (by the way, I live in Germany):

Age 5: Chicken Dance
Age 9: Live is Life, Erste Allgemeine Verunsicherung, Roland Kaiser (*yuck*)
Age 12: Lambada, Nat King Cole
Age 13: Michael Jackson (alltime favorite since then)
Age 22: Robbie Williams
Age 30: Jason Mraz, James Morrison, James Blunt, Duffy, Amy Winehouse
Age 33: Whatever I find on my iPod Happy

These are just the main ones. I have a large cd collection (approx. 1000), so my taste in music is very widespread. I listen to Classic, Jazz, Pop, Rock, Soul - whatever fits my current mood.
