I agree with SyntheticStars. I just never could get into Dune.

Also, I have a hard time trying to read any of Anne Rices' books - but especially the ones about the Mayfair witches. That family tree was WAY too convoluted for me, lol.

I have recently completed the Mayfair witches trilogy and found the second one best of the three. They work as stand alone novels just as well. I can't get into Zadie Smith's On Beauty I keep trying but never get very far.

Dune, me too.

I also found it hard to read

the hitch hikers guide to the galaxy

I found LOTR really hard to get into. Also, I've read His Dark Materials, except for The Amber Spyglass, which I've been trying to read for several years. . but I just can't seem to do it!

U mean true blood the books? Cuz thats not what theyre called. & theyre a million times better then the show in my opinion. >.>
I read as many books as i can afford in a year ...and the "sookie Stackhouse series" is my favorite series by far. (but i like weird/funny books like that) :/

I Hate True-Crime books ....Ive only read a few (usually about seriel killers). But they just constantly repeat themselves! Like every paragraph it repeats what was already said earlier (like things from thier past or why 'they think' they did it). ITS SO ANNOYING.
I'm tryin to read one now, & i just keep gettin tired of it. >.<

Moby Dick, awful awful book

The book called "Blonde Geisha".. I forgot the author, but gah, it was just awful! Writing like a 12-year-old and characters so bland that that even if you 'devoured' them all at the same time there'd be no taste.

Catch-22 the killer is...there are parts and paragraphs that I love and think are genius...but the book a whole makes me want to bash my face into a table.
