I read Go Ask Alice and I thought it was good, have you read Jay's Journal which was published by the same person? It's a good book as well.

I really enjoyed Aimee by Mary Beth Miller and The Perks of Being a Wallflower by Stephen Chbosky.

I'd definitely agree and add Perks of Being a Wallflower to my list.

I've read "go ask alice" as well... I liked it, but found it rather lacking in depth.

one of my favorites has been "songs of the doomed" by Hunter S. Thompson. Most of the time I'm addicted to how-to books. I just can't seem to get enough of them. A new found favorite that one of my friends recently gave me is called "really naughty dots" it's a connect-the-dots of well... shall I just say really naughty pictures?

The Picture of Dorian Gray, I love anything by Oscar Wilde but this is my favorite. So far I haven't read any of his work that I haven't liked. He's very funny in a smart witty sort of way. The entire story line of many of his plays ends up to be a big joke in the end. Lot's of wit! If you've never read any of his work I highly recommend making a run to the library.

I've read Go Ask Alice a few times and really like it. It may not be filled with tons of depth or literary genius but I still think it's interesting enough.

I liked Memoirs of a Geisha up until the end. Didn't hate it, but the spell he'd woven through the book didn't quite reach the end. I loved the movie though.

I guess my favorite books are by L'Engle. A Swiftly Tilting Planet and The Dark Side of the Sun are two of my favorites of hers. Penguins and Golden Calves and Walking on Water are my two favorite non-fiction works by her.

But I love reading! This is near impossible for me. I'm just addicted to the written word! Fiction, Non-Fiction, News, Fanfiction, Essays, Poetry, Children's books, How to Books... Happy Love it!

Good Faeries/Bad Faeries by Brian Froud, it's an art book as well and really funny.

Harry Potter - I've never been so lost within a book ever, I could just loose myself in them.

To Kill A Mockingbird - Read it in school and it was so relevant to what goes on with school kids, judging and such.

(I need to add Go Ask Alice to my amazon wishlist!)

Dorian Gray is impossible not to love. As is The Bell Jar. And I love Brett Easton Ellis for the sheer quotability of his work and how insane reading out little snippets in a flat Christian Bale in American Psycho voice.

But my favourite author is Haruki Murakami. I love the whole Japanese fairytale meets American gritty pulp fiction. Plus it's easy reading with talking animals...what more could you want.

I'm an Anne Bishop fan, myself. I absolutely could never get tired of her Black Jewels Trilogy. Such an amazing series. I never fail to be amazed by the heartbreaking beauty of the world and the characters that she created. < 3

This is a tough question. I like so many books. I'll say my favorite authors are T.C. Boyle, Diablo Cody, Joan Didion, Naomi Kline, Chuck Klosterman, Chuck Palahnuik, Hunter S. Thompson and Kurt Vonnegut.
