My boyfriend has always been a fan of Batman, and he let me read a few, and I was suprised... I liked them! Loved Sandman, amazing stuff. And I'll always be a fan of Rurouni Kenshin!

Finally! Watchmen is a life changer. I love love LOVE Alan Moore. Anyone read the Killing Joke? It's his take on two things, what made the Joker who he is, and why Batgirl is in a wheelchair. Oh, I guess, 3 things, the Joker tries to make Commissioner Gordan go insane...It's so cool. I love 300, I was a little disappointed at how much more clothing the actors wore in the movie, lol. I'm currently following a few of the Deadpool storylines. Loving Domino, I'm wanting to get some omnibi of her stories. This past summer I got crazy obsessed with comics. I used to read the Buffy ones, when the show was still on. I've missed so much of season 8, I'm just waiting for them to compile them. I've read 3 of the four Angel: After The Fall collections. I read some Catwoman, Harley Quinn, Wonder Woman, and Batman comics a few months ago. Oh, everybody go out and find The Pride Of Baghdad...it's gorgeous. It's based on a true story about a zoo pride of lions that were freed by explosions during the current war. It's sad, though. I've read a few Firefly post show comics. Eien, are you dressed as Zoe Washburne in your pic? If so, shiny job on the costume.

Well, it IS why Barbara Gordon's in a wheelchair, there isn't any other reason...Killing Joke fits in between two issues of Batman, one of which has Barbara up and about and the other has her in a wheelchair. I always refuse to accept any birth of the Joker as canon though.

The Arkham Asylum comic, Lovers and Madmen and Year One are also AMAZING, and I have Whatever Happened To The Caped Crusader? heading my way

Oh, Ok. I only just jumped into the Batman comics. I don't really take any comics as canon...so many different writers take the characters in different directions, like 'alternate endings' or 'alternate universes'....I just read, enjoy, and move on.
I forgot to say Lovers and Madmen, it's frickin' insane!! Have you read Batman year 100?

Sorry I wasn't having a go, I'm just quite Batman obsessed =P and really interested in Women In Refrigerators Syndrome, so have done a lot of research into Barbara Gordon.

Nah I haven't read that one! I want to read Hush next, I think. Problem is there are so many and I have no money!

Johnny the Homicidal Maniac (very gory and violent), Preacher, and Fables. I'm not one for comics in general, those are just a couple that I have stumbled upon over the years
