Top Comic Books?

I get 2000AD each week, and I really like some of the stories they publish in there, especially Caballistics, Inc., which I've now gotten the two collections of too. Of the US comics, I really like Powers, which is kinda like superheroes-meet-crime-noir, although I've found it hard to get it consistently over here.

I wish I could buy my comics in newsagents. I've not been able to find Gloom Cookie anywhere in Dundee and now I'm way behind with my collection.

I am new to comics and the only one that I read is the new Season 8 of Buffy the Vampire Slayer, made by Joss Whedon, as I am a huge fan

Buffy Season 8 is fantastic! Of course Love and Rockets is always the best. Local is a cool b&w series that follows a young woman who drifts from city to city across the U.S. And I'm loving Dwayne MacDuffie's take on Justice League.

I am a fan of My Chemical Romance and the singer Gerard Way just wrote his first comic, he has a history in comics and went to art school in New York, I haven't read it yet as I am reading the Buffy at the moment, but it has gotten great reviews. The art is done by Gabriel Ba and cover art by james Jean. "The Umbrella Academy"
I here that Joss is going to continue on from the last season of Angel in comic form too!! Can't wait

I've been collecting comics since I was little!
For a while I was huge on Batgirl, the new adventures though, and I collected up from the first issue to the sixty something, then the hobby got a bit too expensive
I'm more into shojo now, but Macross (80s style) is what turned me on to comics in the first place

Yea! I have all of the sailor moon issues except for two I think, and then when they started getting put into the novels, I lost track because this city has few comic book stores and I don't have a credit card.

I didn't realize there were Sailor Moon comics, I'm going to have to look them up.

I think that the novels would be a lot easier to get a hold of then the actual comics

I collected Sakura Card Captor too, it's when my obsession began

Just picked up the first collection of The Boys (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Boys_(comic_book)) and it's excellent. Very dark and funny.

Bear by Jamie Smart it's hilarius, I'm not into anime/manga or the typical superhero type stuff I just don't like that type of illustration, Bear is simple and cute but not for kids!!! You can get 1 -5 and 6 -10 compiled in books on amazon.

I also bought Nightmares and Fairytales by Serena Valentino thanks to Snippets but I haven't read it yet.
