What are you reading?
im gonna start reading War and Peace tomorow when i get home, but now im just rereading Casino Royale for about the millionth time.
I read a LOT
I've just started reading The Picture Of Dorian Gray. It's wonderful
I don't read as much as I would like to I can only read just before I go to bed when its quiet although I read Harry Potter in the summer in the day cuz no one else was in but I have a type of dyslexia which makes it very difficult to focus on reading and it takes me a long time to read a book because of this, I'm getting tinted glasses soon which should help to stop glare off the page etc
i havent been to this site in a while as i had exams. but i have read the last harry potter book. it was great but the whole nineteen years later thing was a bit much. i wont say more as it will spoil the book for those of u who have not read it yet. on the plus side i found this great sci-fi books site:
love the books there especially the one by elizabeth moon. if you're interested in sci-fi you should check it out.
im still waiting for the third installment of the inheritance series but that wont come out till sep. trying to be patient.
I think the last book was perfect some people really moaned about it, it had to be that way and it's up to Rowling what she writes!
My friend recommened The Picture of Dorian Gray to me when I asked her about victorian novels.
I've read a lot about it. You HAVE to read it. It's really beautiful and passionate and kinda gothic in a lot of ways, and it's full of wonderful satire about society
I'm reading "Matter" by Iain M. Banks because I'm a NERD.
Also "The Picture of Dorian Gray" is an amazing book and I'd recommend it to pretty much anyone.
Ooh Iain Banks is coming to Bristol soon, I may purchase his book and go get it signed =)
I've finished Dorian Gray. It's seriously the most wonderful book.
I'm just about to start a great and terrible beauty and i'm reading great expectations by Charles Dickens for school, i really like GE because it's a classic.
I'm nearly finished The Vampire Lestat and then I'm reading The Queen of the Damned. Though for english Shivi and I had to read The Gathering it's not that great though
Ooh Queen Of The Damned is amazing! I read it so many times that I knew whole chunks of it by heart haha
yer I've heard I've got a couple of friends that practically sing it's praise
I just finished Everything is illuminated by Johnattan Safran Foer. I highly recommend it.
Now I'm reading Getting Even, by Woody Allen. Awesome so far - as usual.
Tess Gerritsen-The Surgeon
I just started Lolita by Vladimir Nabokov. So far I really like his writing style and have the feeling this is going to be a great book.
