"The Secret History of the Pink Carnation" by Lauren Willig. A historical romance that's interesting.. but truly not my cup of tea. I'm more for paranormal romance or something pertaining to true crime/paranormal.
Maybe that's why, even though this story is interesting, it's taking me FOREVER and a day to finish it, haha.

I'm now finally getting able to read "The Zombie Survival Guide" by Max Brooks <3 I've been craving to read this book, but could never find it at Halfprice Books. (A friend ended up giving it to me since she never read it XD <3333)

i finished "the Sweetness at the bottom of the Pie" by alan bradley which was an incredible sweet and thrilling book about a girl that loves chemistry and finds a corpse in the cucumber patch. i´ve read it in english to train the language and didn´t understand all expressions but i´m confident that i´ll read the sequel too.
now i want to finish "eating animals" by jonathan safran foer, the beginning was disgusting and informative at the same time!
aaand, my mother gave me one of these vampire tearjerkes, maybe i´ll read it too...

Right now im finishing the last Harry Potter book "Deathly Hallows".
LOL I know... im so behind. I read all the others ages ago, but when the book initially came out, i was in college & didnt have time to read that monstrosity. I just watched the last movie (Which was FREAKIN AMAZING)... so i decided to read it to see what they left out. I <3 Snape. I'm so happy he finally got the respect he deserved (even tho he died *tear*).

Anyway, im on day 3 and i have 2 chapters left. Im really gonna miss Harry Potter. WAAAHAHAHA!

Right now I'm reading a few things (I always read more than one something at a time...the internet has given me the shortest attention span in the world, I swear). For my "Writers Read" reading group, I'm reading the short story "The Turn of the Screw" by Henry James. I'm reading the "Chibi Vampire" novel for manga interest. For....personal enrichment?...I'm using "Japanese Step-by-Step" by Gene Nishi to begin to teach myself Japanese. For poetry, I'm reading "Swarm" by Jorie Graham.

Has anyone read "World War Z" by Max Brooks? I'm dying to.

I'm stuck in the middle of reading the manga series "Nana"... just because i cant afford any more of them. Theres so freakin many!!! >.< But they're awesome.

I just started Invisible Monsters by Chuck Palahniuk. I haven't read any of his novels before but have had them recommended to me by several people. I am only on the 2nd or 3rd chapter but I am enjoying his writing style already.
