I just finished reading "The Children's Book" by A.S. Byatt, which was a pretty complicated book, and now I'm reading "The Picture of Dorian Gray" by Oscar Wilde.

I am currently reading Lucky's Lady by Tami Hoag, I'm only on Chapter three, but it's really good and I always enjoy Hoags books. Guilty as Sin was another one of hers that was amazing. Happy

I recently bought Alice in wonderland/through the looking glass, Frankenstein, & Dracula at barnes & noble for 3 for $10!!!
I started with Frankenstein, now halfway thru it.

Its really fascinating to read the actually story (b/c its NOTHING like any the movies at all), but i find it hard to keep interest b/c its written in another-time-period-style writing. And i just lose interest sometimes, b/c i just get bored...back in the day tho, this was considered a horror story. :/
I still like it. But mostly what i like most, is reading about Mary Shelleys (author) life story. She had a HORRIBLE life. I think im gonna have to get a book about her sometime ...she was really tragic. More tragic then the book could ever be. Shes so fascinating.

They had this HUGE vampire display at my local library for Halloween, so I just got done reading this book called Mozart's Blood by Louise Marley. It was pretty good, but it took me forever to read. It just didnt get me hooked like some books. Now I'm reading Skinners:Teeth of Beasts by Marcus Pelegrimas. Its really good. But at the same time....my guilty pleasure lately has been these dime-a-dozen vampire/werewolf/whatever supernatural thing novels. They're good books and I enjoy reading them, but I feel bad because there's just so many of them, it seems like there just can't be any substance to them...But i read them anyway lol

The Fall by Albert Camus. Not loving the narration, I've gotta be honest.

"The 19th Wife" by David Ebershoff. The historical account of Ann Eliza is way more interesting the alternating chapters about a current day ex-Mormon trying to help his mother.

BTW, if you saw the Lifetime movie, it is completely different, don't let it deter you.

I've just finished Mr Darcy, Vampire which was surprisingly good. I recieved Horns by Joe Hill for my Christmas and haven't put it down since it's brilliant! He's a really good author who many people haven't heard of so if you like a bit of horror and suspense check him out.

I'm currently re-reading Prince Caspian. When I'm done, I'll probably read the rest of the Narnia stories. And I think I'll read The Hobbit and the other Lord of the Rings books, since I haven't yet and I love the movies.

I'm reading Karlology by Karl Pilkington. This is basically a kind of diary of what he learns/thinks as he visits museums etc in London. So funny Happy
Karl was a Producer for Ricky Gervais (british comedian) on his radio show and has gathered a cult following due to his abstract way of thinking/opinions. Some of you might've seen him in "An Idiot Abroad" on Sky1 before xmas. Personally I LOVE the guy!!

I'm reading Norweigan Wood by Haruki Murakami, it's ok but not as good as the Wind Up Bird Cronicles.

I have a stack of new books to read, I think I might read my new Margaret Atwood next
