Believe it or not, there are a great number of people who believe that 9-11 was the United States' punishment for being so tolerant of gays. (Where all this "tolerance of gays" comes in I'm not too sure, since a 20-year-old gay man was murdered outside a gay club in my home town just last year.)

I used to work with a girl who believed that the tsunami in Asia was God's judgment on all the people who don't practice Christianity- she called them "wrong believers and people who practice witchcraft." Um, last time I checked, Eastern religions and witchcraft were not even close to the same thing...

I find it's best just to ignore these people. They fear what they don't understand.

See that's exactly how I feel. I'm Christian but I also believe every religon is just a different doorway to the same place. If your a good person and you live life trying to learn and help other people. That's all you need. I don't understand why people go about trying to convert other people to their religion by critisism. Next time you get a bible beater telling you, you are going to burn in hell. Just tell him didn't your God say. Judge not Lest ye be Judged?
That's why I don't go to church. I have yet to find one that doesn't critisize other peoples beliefs. Man that makes me mad!

And on another note has anyone ever heard of the Ba 'hai faith. Their base of this religion is pretty much what Dis AR Ray said.

When parts of the UK got flooded a vicar said that it was because of all the gays and abortions.

I'm going to hell according to Buddha, but that's my own fault for killing a daddy long legs last night but I don't liiike killing bugs and try to make most of them go outside again but I was tired.

Did anyone see that show about kids who go out preaching? I can't remember the name of it but it was on Channel 4 and they had this little boy from the bible belt go to New York and preach in the streets and he ended up getting scared by all the gay couples of homeless men. It was just so wrong because he'd clearly been spoon fed this since he was born and was being forced in to doing these scary things.

Yeah it's horrible when people mess up their children. It's just not fair to ruin all chances they have of a normal life - even if they managed to break free from the brainwashing, they're bound to be messed up
