Hi Audrey!
My solitaire ice ring is white gold but may wedding ring contain white and yellow gold together. so does baking soda and water paste can blanch yellow gold?

I don't think so. My mom has been cleaning her 10 year wedding band for the last 15 years with the baking soda paste. Her ring is white, yellow, and rose gold in a basket weave. It looks the same as it did when she got it.

I've never cleaned yellow gold before. All of my jewelry is white gold or silver.

No problem Happy It's just one of the two rings I inherited when my mom's mom died, and they belonged to her mom! I have an emerald one that's just as old and marvelous but it's white gold and looks like a flower almost.

The doctors had a way of cleaning gold today with whiskey. Just dip a soft toothbrush in whisky and scrub.

I'm not sure if it's the same for gold. But rubbing toothpaste on silver and rinsing it makes it shiny, (:
