Anthropologie..really?

I was browsing Anthropologie (more to "borrow" ideas than to buy)and my eye was caught by this doily bib necklace

REALLY Anthropologie? This is insane! For some doilies I can get at the Ladies of Charity for a buck and some brass chain?

It is funny really, I just shake my head.

That's Anthropologie for you! The same with Urban Outfitters, but to a lesser extent.
I do agree that it's ridiculous for companies to slap together stuff you can find in a church dumpster and sell it for such high prices.

Urban Outfitters and Anthropologie are under the same company umbrella, and i was expecting to find this necklace:

I've never shopped at Anthropologie before but after I saw this I had a look, and you're right! What a rip off!

Oh my... that paperclip necklace isn't just terribad, it's horriawful! That is the most hideous thing I've ever seen, but I'm laughing so hard at it! Anthropologie is for yuppies... yuppies with REALLY BAD taste.

I always go into both Urban Outfitters and Anthropologie, and I get their mailers. Mostly for the art ideas I can gleam from them, but I do give them credit for knowing how to put on a sale! Yes, their original prices are COMPLETELY outrageous, but their sale prices are unbelievably good! So I have bought stuff from them, when I find the sale table!
