pregnancy scare-need words of comfort

Honey,that was one tough day.
Glad you had a place to share.Take things easy over the next few days and I know it sounds hard but try not to stress.
It's fine and understandable to be scared right now.I had two miscarriages and remember how frustrating all the conflicting advise was.
Rest as much as you can and let those around you know how your doing.

I am sorry you are going through this. I have been through a miscarrige before too, and even if you didn't want a baby at the time, it is still tough.

When I went to the ER they sent me home with a threatened miscarrige but then the next day I did. 2 months later I got preggo with my 3 year old Liam...

Hope everything turns out fine and the way you want it too. (((hugs)))

Im so sorry this is happening to you Jeanette!
One of my close friends almost died because she didnt get to the hospital in time.Im glad you did,and that they recognized the problem in time.
Just try to relax, you are in good hands and everything will be fine.
Try not to stress about it (I know its hard) but try to occupy yourself with something like reading or crafting so that you dont think about it all day. That way you wont be so nervous about it.

Dont forget that we are all here for you!

Oh honey, I am so sorry to hear that this is happening to you. Don't stress yourself out about how to put it on here, I'm sure we are all grateful that you were able to get this distressing situation somewhat off your chest. We will always be here for you!!

As for advice on the situation I don't think I will be much help, I think just try indulging in things that you enjoy doing. When it gets you down, get the biggest tub of ice-cream and rent a film (you may not like ice-cream but you get what I mean!!) and slob out in your PJ's. If want to hibernate at home for a bit then do it. If you want to dance around the house like a nutter - do it... whatever you want that will try and cheer you up.

Also take comfort in the people that love you, they will want to be by your side - including us lot here...

It's never going to be an easy (emotionally and physically) situation to be in so as silly as this sounds, try and make the best of the situation if possible (by indulging yourself, talking to people, doing something that will boost your self-esteem etc).

Let us know how you get on... xoxoxox best wishes honey!!

oh jeanette, I'm sorry! I'm glad to hear that you are taking care of yourself though. i've never been thru anything like that but i'm sure it's hard. my sister had bleeding early in her pregnancy but carried to full term and my nephew is almost 3 now! I think you just need to let your body rest and do what it needs to do. my thoughts and prayers are with you!

Both Mel & Heather are right. My sister bled for about a week or so when she was pregnant with my niece Emily and she carried her to full-term and is a compleatly healthy 2 month old bundle of joy.

I wish I could magic all of us to yours and make you sit and eat Ben & Jerry's and have a right old giggle!!

Thank you all for all the nice replies. It really helps and I really like hearing from everyone. Once I get home today it will be all about the pajamas and maybe even some ice cream Happy

I went to the doctors today and they still don't know what to think of it. The tests are still showing as pregnant, they took more blood and want to see if my HCG levels in my blood have increased since last time. If they have, then it would look more positive. If it does go down then it is likely a miscarriage, but they even said that even with the numbers, it's not a guarantee on anything.

I got the test results back and the HCG levels have dropped, so now they are pretty sure it is a miscarriage. I will be going in on Monday and they will decide what I should do next, like if I'm going to need a D&C.
