R.I.P. Alexander McQueen

i received the message one hour ago. I´m unbelievable sad that this amazing and innovative designer has gone forever.
Maybe it was the only solution for him, maybe he is with his best friend and his mother now, but i´m also thinking about how cruel fashion business could be and what it can do to people... it scares me

The world of fashion has lost a truely individual, creative designer. His shoes, quirky and challenging the normal constraints. Commercilism needs to take a hard look at it's self. Yep I agree So LaLa, the fashion business can be a cruel world.

I heard about this and thought it was very sad indeed. We have lost an incredibly talentend and creative mind. However to take his own life he was probably very sad at the loss of his mother and best friend, amoungst other people perhaps? So although the occassion is sad, we must try and be happy in the certain knowledge that he is now happier. Whatever you believe, you've got to think that he is in a happier place.

I found this so exceptionally sad when I read about it. I remember watching him interviewed on the Clothes Show years and years ago and thinking how down to earth and unpretentious he was. It feels like such a waste and i feel for his family and friends. Suicide is such a tragic way to loose someone close to you. RIP
