nightmares and night terrors

Damn you Rachie!

Well last night I went to bed at three and got up at eleven, so that's not too bad. I've got to set my alarm for eight tomorrow morning but I'm not gonna worry too much about getting to bed early - I'll just have some tea and food and a cig in the morning, that'll wake me up!

I'm zombified today, I had weird dreams all night that kept waking me up. Then the bloody postman was knocking so I ended up getting up earler than I wanted to.
I can't eat food in a morning, it makes me feel really ill. I haven't had breakfast since I was an egg.

I used to hate breakfast but now it's just a meal for me, like I'll have a veggie burger or some pasta. If I have cereal in the morning it does nothing. Although I'm really craving cereal right now...but 50p isn't enough to buy anything haha.

Yep, 3 hours sleep last night =( I was okay this morning but I've just had a two hour nap and I'm exhausted again. I want to get out to wake myself up but can't =( and I can't sleep all day tomorrow cause I have a parcel to pick up and stuffs to do.

You know, taking Valerian root capsules is supposed to help with sleep problems. And for those of you in the States, I discovered that you can get bottles of it for $2 or $3 in Dollar General, rather than $8 to $10 anywhere else. YaY!

I just had something weird happen to me. I've been extremely depressed and anxious lately and haven't really slept in two days. I got so exhausted that I passed out and woke up soon after because my body physically jolted me from a nightmare. I had dreamt that a friend had abandoned me because I guess they were tired of dealing with my problems. Then each time after that when I'd try to go to sleep; my body would jolt itself awake again and I'd be gasping for air. I know that this happened to me because of my anxiety and fear of being abandoned, but knowing why it was happening to me didn't make it any less scary. I've also had dreams in the past where I was actually able to feel like I was having a seizure and could see myself having one in my dream. I don't think this is possible because I've had two seizures before and you completely lose consciousness and I lost memory of the events leading up to and things that happened soon after the seizures. So those dreams really puzzle me because I can feel myself seizing, but I'm not certain I'm actually physically moving when this happens. It's very frightening to say the least.

ohno, kiddo!!!! that is horrible!!! it sounds like a night terror to me, but then, ive never had a siezure before (that i know of, unless the unable-to-move-after-waking thing counts).

good luck, you--and honestly, this thread was able to help me a lot with that sort of thing. if you havent read the whole thing, maybe do. you could find some useful tricks/tips to help with that sort of thing. i found that the tea recipes posted by gypsie helped me quite a bit. Happy

good luck, and let us know how its going!!!! Happy

xoxoxo

I've been able to sleep really well lately. I've just been having my regular, off-the-wall, silly dreams. So that's wonderful! I'm glad that you were able to find some relief as well. (((Hugs)))
