Just a quick input, I could rant forever about this but I'm going to show some self control haha
I always refer people to this video:

It brings together both scientific fact and charming cartoon humor ^^

The simplest way I can say this is; no. It's not a choice.

Let me explain. The few MATURE homosexuals I have been close too, have TRIED to have sex with the opposite sex and it didn't work because they simply weren't aroused. I mean, a lesbian can definitely have sex with a male, but she won't enjoy it. But the men I have known canNOT get hard.

If it were a choice, like everyone believes, then that is a reason right there to try to force them to NOT be gay, because it'd just be a choice they'd have to make to make everybody else happy. But it is NOT. A choice. You don't choose to be sexually attracted to the same sex.

In middle school, a lot of kids were "deciding" that they were gay, and the teachers didn't like that saying that we were too young to make that decision. Well, in middle school, our hormones were raging! That is exactly the time we would start to find things out about ourselves! (This is also why I specified "mature" people earlier in this post, most of the gay kids I've known where too young to have experimented enough to know if they were truly gay, bi, or strait.)

Hope I helped.
