that time of month

I got my first period on the grade 6 camping trip. It was horrible! No way was I going to go ask my male teacher for a tampon. I then realized I had about 5 dollars in change and spent like an hour pushing quarters into the pad-machine. =]

I just want to get it overwith by now.

ummm, I don't think we get over it till menopause

Mine wasn't terriblely bad at first but they are soo irregualr - Like I can go months without having one...grr I don't know whats up with them. And I have to pee like alll the time like whenever I decide to stand up....stupid things.

It's definetly gonna happen soon Courtney with those symptoms. Once they become regular it's alright, I don't know how regular they were before i went on the pill but I don't think i had much of a problem or i'd remember. If they aren't regular it will be your age and some women just don't have regular periods, go to the doctors, you won't have to go on the pill if you don't want to they have other things to sort them out I think.

Michelle I think she meant she's just sick of waiting for the start. Don't waste your time feeling like you're a freak or not a girl or any of that, cuz I did and it's a waste of time! You'll be much more prepared for it. It's not so bad, for me anyway.

Once they start you'll probably just wish they would go away again anyway haha, that's what I'm like a bit now but only because of the pain.

I make my boyfriend rub my tummy when I have cramps lol. And he understands everything and he's not like "Eurgh that's so gross I'm not going anywhere near you until you're back to normal".

The first day is hell. I really want to start on the pill, because i feel so sick, all the week. :|

yeh my boyfriend always rubs my back, I don't really need to ask now he just knows lol so much better then a heat patch, paracetamol or a hair dryer. It was awful at work when I had to work saturday with back ache! It's kind of nice to be looked after when I have PMT and pain, just like I look after him when he's ill, and just most of the time lol

I bloody hate it when men talk about it as if it's so awful for them, knobs.

I keep repeating myself but I was a 'late bloomer' courtney too and I actually cried about it, but it's actually a good thing.

The doctor tried to put me on these acid tablets for the pain and when they didn't work I got to go on the pill, and one doctor said 'you are on the pill for contraception yees?' i was like 15 and my mum was there and like 'erm oh no noo!'

I hate it when men treat it like a desiese, but turn around and freak when you dont get it. Its like make up you're damn mind! am i a desiese or am i not?
