ugh...

does the overuse of the abbreviation 'lol' bother you?! its used so many time so randomly??
for example, someone IMed me and said this:
"hey whats up? lol"
why is hey whats up so funny?!

any other text-talk abbreviations bother you?

hehe ^^ ... I use *lol *very often too.. but I always use *g*,too...
Well I think it´s only because I smile very often and I just can´t make smileys everywhere.. ^^
Or ;) or Happy) or Happy


I think *lol* is often use for other things too not only for" laughing out loud"..I use it when I laugh because I´m shy,and when I usually should write *g*..

Overuse of lol annoys me when it doesn't make sense. (i.e. hey what's up? lol) I used to get aggravated by emoticons and netspeak more, but now I just accept that some people really like using those things to embellish their typing.

i hate chatspeak. hate hate hate chat speal, like i dont mind lol, ttyl, g2g. But dear god don't use 3's for E's and don't capilze every second letter, and dont put 8 in for ate's . Drives me coo-coo
