If you could make a game what would it be about?

I study Game Design at university in the UK and this term we take game level design as part of the 4 year course, I wanted to do some research on what things people like in games. I'm asking you guys because you're more creative than the average Joe and would probably have more original ideas.
So what would your game be about? Would it be a shooter? Point and click? RPG? Happy

RPG has got my vote. I think some people play games to escape the real world just for a little while (im guilty of it) Maybe thats why WoW is so popular? I was addicted to it for a while Tongue I personally, like a game where I can choose my pace..like on WoW some days I like to take it slow and just fool around maybe upgrade my character with a new item..its a nice escape from always fighting/killing 24/7.

Yeah I would probably agree, that's why I play animal crossing on my wii... it takes you from the real world with cute lil characters. I'd love to have a mixture of a game of something like animal crossing but with some more challenging mini games or something?

I like a good beat em up. If I made a game it would have me in it kicking the crap out of everything that moved. It's a great stress reliever. Maybe I'd chuck the odd puzzle in there too cos I also like puzzle games=)

A classic-type game...like Mario-esque? So I guess KINDA rpg...haha I don't know how to describe it!
