Wow... I'm a zombie fanatic. It's hard tochoose just one.
I'd have to say either the origional Dawn or Day of the Dead.

The original Dawn of the Dead is my favourite, although I also loved 28 Days Later. Last night I saw a Norwegian zombie film called Dead Snow that was very low-budget, but still both hilarious and spooky.
I saw the Canadian premiere of Diary of the Dead at the Toronto Film Festival a few years ago, and George Romero was there! That was really cool.

"Dead Snow" and "Zombieland" were the most recent ones I've seen (LOVED 'em both)!
Glad to see someone mention "Cemetery Man" and "Dead Alive" (both underrated).
Another great one within the last year or so was "Dance of the Dead" (from Ghosthouse). Basically it's up to the kids who couldn't get dates to the prom to save the town from a zombie invasion. Even contains a make-out scene between two zombies (funny)! That and two other zombies steal this poor kid's car! Hilarious!

Still hearing whispers of a possible "World War Z" film, though I CAN'T WAIT for "The Walking Dead" television series (the books were incredible)!

A GREAT comedy/horror zombie movie: Night of the Living Dorks!!!!!

Dorks was GREAT!

I also have to mention "Wild Zero". It's a a Japanese rock n' roll zombie horror comedy (zombies are caused invading aliens) The dvd even includes a drinking game where a beer icon appears every time someone says "rock n' roll", fire shoots out of something, a zombie's head pops, something blows up, someone combs their hair (happens A LOT) and I forget what else. Great ridiculous movie (though can be hard to find). Stars the band "Guitar Wolf" - the self-proclaimed "coolest" rock band ever.

ROCK N' ROLL!

I just saw "Rika Zombie Hunter" in my movie rental place near my house Happy Can't wait for thesis to end so I can watch it. The whole topic is a schoolgirl who goes to visit her grandpa and gets torn apart my zombies. But grandpa just happens to be a mad scientist, who puts Rika back together...into the ultimate Zombie fighter schoolgirl!!!

Lol, it can only be awesomeness! And, apparently its a part of a trilogy including "Zombie Self-defense Force" and "Attack Girls' Swim Team Versus the Undead"

I've been getting into the genre only semi-recently....I need to sit down and watch the Romero set....
I love Zombieland, Zombie Honeymoon, Shaun of the Dead, Planet Terror(although it's not exactly zombies), and just because it's worth mentioning no matter what the genre, The Evil Dead trilogy(soon to have a fourth and a remake of the original!!)
Oh, and my fiance and his bestie are writing a zombie attack novel together, set in our teensy widdle country town, and their base of operations/survival area is the McDonald's they work at!

I'm such a zombie freak, I admit it. Although I wasn't a huge fan of Fido. George A. Romero really made me love horror.

Yeah I'm a massive zombie geek. Got all the Romeros, 28 Days/Weeks Later, White Zombie, Evil Dead (even though not technically zombies), Dead Snow, Shaun of the Dead, Zombieland, Tokyo Zombie (absolutely hilarious - like Shaun of the Dead but Japanese and less serious)

Zombieland is the best I've seen since Shaun Of the Dead.
(:
If they say laughter is the best medicine, Zombieland is the whole frickin' pharmacy.
