My absolute favorite movie maker is making one of my favorite stories.

He has never failed to astonish me. I idolize him so much - one of the most original and creative people in the world.

He stays true to the stories, that's what I love so much about him. The Willy Wonka movie (original) wasn't solely based on the book and Burton caught fire because his was so much different.

In the book Wonka was much more creepy and Depp pulled it off so well.

*sigh* Depp, I don't find him that attractive apart from when he's a pirate and everyone always says 'What is wrong with you!?' when I say this but his acting is just amazing.

I really liked what Burton did with Wonka, the sets were perfect!

The only problem with Burton's Wonka was the Oompah-Loompahs. Much better in the original.

That's cool, there were rumours that it was gonna be Marilyn Manson playing Alice but she has the perfect face for it. Should be brilliant!

Lol manson, yeh have to agree on the Oompah - Loompahs!

I love Miserlou by Dick Dale from Pulp Fiction, it gives me tingles and makes me wanna dance.

I love most of Burtons films, I can't say all as I did not enjoy Charlie and the Chocolate Factory at all. I think everything else I can love... oh no not Planet of the Apes, didn't like that either.

Anyway I think this has a lot of promise YAY

As soon as Mike told me I thought 'I must make a post about this on CO+K!'. I can't wait to see what he does with it! I never used to like alice in wonderland as a kid, it creeped me out a bit but now I love it I love the card suits imagery too.

How come I put that about the song by Dick Dale in here that was random!

I don't really remember watching it much as a kid, I know I have, but it was years and years ago. I should probably read it again before the film comes out

Yeh I could hardly remember watching Little Mermaid and I used to be obsessed with it and we never owned it even though I had most of the Disney films on video and I bought it on DVD and I was like 'Why did I like this?' I can't stand the singing. Jungle Book and Lion King though I've always loved. I might buy the disney version of Alice on DVD I can't remember watching it properly. I used to be obsessed with Fantasia as well and I bought the DVD from ebay and I think it was a copy and the hippos aren't pink! The quality is alright though you can just tell by the case and the disk Happy Anyway I must stop being so random, it seemed revelant to me!

Oh wow, I bet it'll be amazing - I can't wait. The Little Mermaid was the first film I ever saw and it was my favorite film for years, I haven't seen it since I grew up Happy

I loved the little mermaid too! Ariel was so cool, I haven't seen it in years. I think out of them all Beauty and the Beast is my fave, but again I haven't seen them in years.
