I GOT THE JOB!!!

At the dog groomers I've been going on about for weeks!!!! I can only work 3 days a week plus one training day some where else once every two weeks because of the financial implications for the groomers but that's great for me! I won't have that much money but I'll still get time to craft! I dunno when I start I find out on Wednesday.

To think I got upset about this the other day! It makes the happiness double!

I may ask them if I could collect the dog hair shaved off to make little felted doggies with lol the hair would be clean of course Happy

alright good job but you might want to hold off on the doggie hair until you get to know them better if they dont craft they may think your a little weird lol

thaaanks! I got a load of paper work from the company that will give additional training once a week and it seems that they haven't communicated very well with the groomers, I'm getting 80 quid a week even though I'm only working 3 days Happy but I hope they know that's how much I should get!! Worry worry! I can't just be happy! But it's never simple, I'm looking forward to tomorrow Happy

aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah! ok my first day was alright 2 yorkies, a laperatzo and 2 westies. The 2 yorkes and laperatzo were lovely and I had to hold the smallest yorkie when she was being cut she was so iiickle. One of the wesites was reeeaally naughty I just washed 3 dog and i dried one of the westies fully it's actually quite hard and you have to do this horrible thing you have to squeeze their anal glands and I won't go into it because you may be sick. And I used conditioner on one of the westies but I shouldn't have because it had very bad skin but they never told me not to so they were ok about it. I so embarrased myself, this lad that works there is 6 months into his apprenticeship so he's sort of teaching me what he's learnt and 2 wasps came in and he got rid of the first one for me and I said 'thank you I love you!' LOL he said 'erm what?' but I said I said it because he killed the wasp but aaah embarrasing. Also there was a puppy but I was drying the westie at the time so couldn't say hello.

I don't know when I'm working again because it still all needs to be sorted out Happy I had fun though, first days are always awkward.

Other westies are really big compared to ours and have very corse, wirey fur but ours has silky furr! So thanks for not complaining about all the moaning and the well wishing, I think it worked Happy
