Making DIY Hair Chalks?!

So recently, I've been obsessed with SCENE hair. And most of 'Scene' hair is bright highlights on dark hair and neon pink hair and stuff. Which basically inspired me to get some highlights. I thought it might not be too appropriate for school so I looked up Hair Chalks on YouTube and there was a video on how to make your own.

It's basically using soft pastel chalks on your hair like the real Hair Chalk. I can't get soft pastel chalks anywhere. But I guess it's kind of creamier than a normal one? I've never seen any of it.

I don't know, I kind of want to MAKE it. If you have any idea that you think will work to make a normal chalk with creamier base. Again, if you think it's not possible at all I'd like to know if you know any online websites that sells them at a cheap price! Happy
Thanks!!

I would be curious to know this too! My concern would be avoiding any chalk dye bleeding into my hair though, as I have damaged hair.
Which is why I haven't tried it... perhaps some normal chalks crushed into a powder, then mixed with leave-in hair conditioner or something might work?
I would also suggest checking your local art store. They would be your best bet for slightly creamy chalks.
