SNAKES! I have always been scared of snakes! Then mice and then cats. Yes, cats. Sorry to all of you cat lovers but I have always been scared of cats. I have had a few and I love to snuggle with them but I still have a fear of them. It happened when I was 3 I think. I still remember being frightened by a neighbors cat. I am getting shivers!!

I am terrified of crocodiles and alligators

I even found the film Crococdile Dundee scary :'-(
I can't watch it on the TV when people are swimming in lakes in America that have crocodiles in 'em, or when they're in a teeny bitty little rowing boat through one. I just sit there waiting for a crocodile to come up and eat them. I really could never live in a country with them... or if I did, I couldn't go anywhere near the water.

I'm scared enough of pikes and other big goldfish to go swimming in English lakes (I do go sometimes but I always get worried my leg'll brush against something and i'll be screaming about being near a goldfish)
I used to have goldfish, I loved them. When we first got them and they were tiny I used to put my finger in the water so they could give me goldfish kisses, but then when they got bigger i just got terrified they would actually hurt me (Even though they were only ever about five inches in length)

So yeah, I guess I'm just scared of like outdoor water. I can do swimming pools and what not but I always get dead nervous about going in the sea (I do force myself into it though, you've gotta have a swim.)

I use to be scared of walking on the grass when I was really little, mainly because it's harder to avoid standing in dog poo - I guess it would seem a lot bigger and scarier when you're small.

I've been there too Opposites, though I never went up it. See:

I would have a baby now if I thought I wouldn't regret it. But I want to have a job and a proper income and things like that to bring a baby in. I know it's not the most important thing but I'd want to know my kid would always have a home and that.

Cool picture Cat, I bought a cool badge of the building when I got to the top and lost it somewhere Happy Amazing view!

Roma I too hate the feeling of fish brushing my legs, when I was 7 or 8 we went to Majorca and we swam in the sea, I legged it when I saw all these fish, it was very gross! I have swam in the sea since, but been well dodgy of the fishies *shivers*

Man I suggest you get the shots, I had cervical cancer and it was no fun.
I used to be super scared of needles too, I once refused emergency medical attention because I didn't want them to give me an IV. I was fighting so hard but my friends told me to stop being a pussy, so I did. since then my fear of needles had died down. Especially now that im on the depo shot. I still cant watch them put it in, but if I look the other way I wont cry!
Im terrified of sharks, jellyfish, and burning alive.

yes burning alive would be horrible, so would drowning. I am scared of old dolls. like the antique looking ones. and clowns too. oh, and spiders definitely spiders. it's not normal to have hundreds of eyes and eight legs! oh and some of them jump, so icky.

Kearyn - well done for over coming the fear!

some of those porclien (how do you spell that!?) dolls are so scary looking! I don't like swimming in the sea at all and it sucks because I love water but I've always had a fear of jellies, I hate it when seaweed brushes up against your legs! The first time I went in the sea I was really scared but gradually went further in. Another time in Spain I ended up being quite far out and started panicking and every time I swam forward a wave pulled me back, it was scary but I wasn't that far out there was a Spanish woman bobbing about quite relaxed. Then I went to Anglesey with college as an end of year party thing, and I was just paddaling because i couldn't be bothered changing and didn't want to go far out because we'd seen jellyfish. I was in the water and one was right next to me I ran out of there and wouldn't go so far in again haha. Friends said they saw a huge one!

ya know would be just awful. Ther is this disease where you start loosing the ability to move your toes and finger and it progesses until you cant wash yourself or feed yourself. Then eventually the disease affects your lungs and you die from suffication. If I found out that I had that disease I would probally like...commit suicide!

well you wouldn't be able to if you'd already lost your ability to function! There was a man with something like that who wanted to be given one of those lethal injections if all he could do was think but not function, I think he lost his case and so they'll keep him alive even when he can't talk or move.

I had a dream about there being a gas explosion in our house I'm scared of that happening, and fire.

I remember when we were getting our TB injections and everyone kept saying that the needle scraps your bone! Which is obviously ridiculous, everyone makes it worse in high school!

On one of my previous posts I put wings when I meant winds, twice!

I hate seas as well, they freak me out.

The idea of being paralysed terrifies me more almost as much as being blind

I don't hate seas, I looove the sea, I love water but I don't like the vastness of it and things like jellyfish and electric eels, it seems harder to get away from them in the sea, like its easier to run away from a scorpian but not a to swim.

Yeh I'd rather be deaf then blind, but if I was actually given a choice i'd like to keep both things thanks.

Haha yeah, that's a good point. I think if I went blind I'd seriously consider killing myself. I hate being dependant on other people
