What I would LOVE to do is make a fake dreadlock hair clip. You know they do big hair clips in different coloured hair. I think it would be cool if they did something similar with dreads!!

Hehe I have dreadlocks right now except it's my real hair but it's really not hair to get temporary dreads all you have to do to speed up the process in time for halloween dont wash your hair today then tommorow tease the s#$@ out of it! Seperate it into sections and twist and twist and twist and twist each section of your hair tease more if neccesary and use LOTS OF HAIRSPRAY keep doing this until halloween then the day after prepare to use a half a bottle of conditionor on your head and bring the brush into the shower with your massage the conditionor into your hair and over each dreadlocks and then start brushing them out takes about a half hour. I do this ALL THE TIME and it actually makes my hair really soft and shiny because it's getting a sort of 'leave in conditionor treatment' haha and all the dead gross hair on your head will come out when you brush it cause it's too weak.

thoese are really neat ideas. i dont think i'd want to do real dreads tho because i have a thing with neeeeeding to wash my hair the sec it feels greasy. Oddbread i braided them into my real hair which will last 1-3 months depending on if my husband braided them in tight enough! i used natural hair colors because colored hair was more expensive and i only had a budget of 8.00 to spend on this. so i have black, blonde and brown dreads.. a few of them are brown and blond twish like which look realy neat with my already pink hair.
@Lolibot - i am sure that i can prolly make you a few hair clips, or teach you to to it. the hair itsself is only 99cents for brown or black.. the blonde hair was 7.00!!! and it comes with more than enough hair that two packets did my whole head. mine are really thick tho. i got them from Sallys Beauty Supply they had rainbow of colors but i didnt look at the prices of them. making the dread locks only took 3 mins per dread.. i made 25 dreads. ... maybe i should do a tute?
